WACS Athletics Concussion Awareness
Private schools offering youth sports this fall are required to provide concussion/head injury information to all athletes under age 19, their parents, and the coaching staffs and volunteers involved in the sport.
Permission forms acknowledging receipt of the information are required prior to participation in practice or games. For more information, including sample information sheets and permission forms, visit the WIAA website. A link to a brief video prepared by the WIAA and a sideline assessment tool for your coaches are also available.
