2022 AACS National Bible, Fine Arts and Academic Competition Report

The AACS National Competition was held in Greenville, SC. Almost 1800 students and sponsors from 172 schools representing 28 states competed in 76 different categories in Bible, art, music, speech, and academics. Throughout the week, Dr. Nathan Crockett, professor at Bob Jones University, preached a series of messages challenging and encouraging students to live for the Lord. Bob Jones University faculty and staff graciously facilitated the student activities and accommodations. The three-day competition culminated at the Thursday night awards ceremony, which included a showcase highlighting some of the best entries by several individuals and schools.

Spring 2020 Competition Results

After carefully weighing guidance from public health officials and consulting with AACS leadership and with leadership at Bob Jones University, AACS made the difficult decision to cancel the AACS National Competition this year. All AACS National Competition events for 2020 are cancelled. This is the first time in 43 years that they have had to cancel the event. That decision is incredibly disappointing for our leadership and staff. Two thousand young people will miss an opportunity that they have spent months preparing for, but the decision is unavoidable in these circumstances.

Due to the timing of the CO-VID 19 outbreak in Wisconsin, our WACS leadership decided to cancel the Junior and Senior High Fine Arts day of competition and all of the competition for the elementary. Junior and Senior High testing had been finished online and art and photography projects had been delivered and were judged. Below are the results from the testing and art categories that were finalized.
